June 28, 2024

The objective is to review some considerations that should be taken into account for the programming of the annual demand of vaccines and immunization supplies: WHO recommendations on the use of trivalent anti-influenza vaccine instead of tetravalent. Use of measles, rubella and mumps vaccine (MMR) Zagreb strain for routine vaccination to replace the MMR Jeryl-Lynn strain. Availability through the Revolving Fund of Varicella vaccine strain OKA, originating from South Korea, which requires a one-dose schedule. Availability through the Revolving Fund of the first hexavalent product with complete Pertussis (Pw) prequalified by WHO.
