Under review

Dengue vaccination - use of doses with expiration on 04/30/2024 It has been established that the age range of 10 to 14 years for vaccination against dengue will be maintained. However, exceptionally, vaccination will be extended in health centers during working hours, preferably for the population aged 6 to 16 years. This strategy can be extended up to the age limit specified in the Qdenga vaccine package insert, which is between 4 and 60 years.

The application of this temporary strategy will only apply to lots with an expiration date of 4/30/2024.

The importance of intensified communication and robust strategies to increase adherence to the dengue vaccination program is emphasized.

In addition, formal guidance will be provided to states and municipalities through a technical note prepared by the National Immunization Program (PNI).

Finally, it is imperative to ensure that people who receive the first dose of the vaccine in this strategy are guaranteed the administration of the second dose of the immunizer, respecting the interval recommended by the PNI.
